All sales subject to the following trading terms - these terms and conditions do not affect the consumer's statutory rights.
Free delivery within a 10 mile radius of PO8 (Horndean, Hampshire). Special Next Day Delivery by the Post Office is used for posting of our orders, or a courier service, with prices calculated on the weight of your order on completion. Prices include compensation of up to £500 to cover your items as standard. Prices as follows: Weight of orders up to 100g = £6.50, up to 500g = £7.00, up to 1kg = £10.00, up to 2kg = £13.00. Large scale orders such as table plans will be couriered at a flat fee of £15. If orders of service, menus, table plans or any other additional items are to be delivered at a later date this will incur a separate delivery charge. You may also collect your order in person if you prefer.
Any damage discovered once the order has been received must be notified to us within 5 days of the delivery.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the whole order is required when you order. Orders are only confirmed once the deposit has been paid.
The full payment must be received and cleared before the order is despatched, unless paying cash on delivery, agreed by prior arrangement only.
Unfortunately we are unable to receive payment over the phone by credit/debit card, however we do accept PAYPAL, cash or cheque.
In the event of an order being cancelled, all completed work that exceeds the deposit must be paid for.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Your deposit secures the price of items purchased at the time of ordering.
We will send you a set of proofing forms to check and approve after you have placed your order. This does not include items such as place cards, guest books, etc, only items that need insert text to be approved such as invitations, RSVPs, table plans and order of services. Orders then take 6-8 weeks for completion. We recommend ordering invitations at least 6-8 months before your wedding as our production slots get booked up very quickly, as well 4 months before you intend to send them out to allow time for samples to be made, proofs to be agreed, and the production timescale too. If you have a shorter timescale to work with we will do our best to accommodate your needs where at all possible.
We do our best to make sure that your proofs are accurate, but it is the client's final responsibility to check everything is correct. We will dispatch a proof either by post or email at your preference. This will be the client’s responsibility to make sure it is correct and any changes made after we have received your acceptance of the proof in writing may incur an additional charge for any work made. All wording for the invitations must be sent electronically, either via email or CD. We do not accept any responsibility for any incorrect spelling on invitations and accessories if transcribed correctly from the clients wording. By signing and returning the proof forms you are agreeing that you have read the proofs and everything is correct and we can proceed with making your invitations. Please do check all details including RSVP addresses. We are unable to start your order until we receive the signed proof forms.
All invitations and order of services include free printed wording inserts and pocketfold invitations also include free RSVPs and one further free information card, ie Menu, Hotel information, or Map/Directions.
All stationery items are handmade, therefore there maybe some slight variations. Wish Upon A Card reserves the right to substitute a design element with a suitable alternative should an item used in a design become discontinued or unavailable.
Samples of invitations can be ordered at a cost of £3.50 per item.These will take 2-4 weeks to make and despatch, but where possible we will make these as soon as is possible, depending on stock of items.
Maps can be specially designed for you, if you desire, to match your collection, at a flat fee of £5. For extra information cards with the map printed on them, other than the second information card in the pocketfold invitations, it will cost an additional 50p per invitation.
Wedding scrapbooks will take approximately 4-8 weeks for completion after you have supplied your chosen photos to us, depending on complexity.
All your personal details will be kept confidential. Wish Upon A Card will not share any of your information. Photos of your invitations will be shared on our Facebook page, but any personal contact details such as addresses and phone numbers will be digitally removed first.
We will stamp the backs of all of the invitations with our logo and contact details. If you would prefer us not to do this, please let us know when you confirm your order.
Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel a contract within seven days - starting from the day after you take delivery of the goods (a "cooling off" period). This applies to ready-made, off the shelf items. You must notify us of your wish to cancel your order within these seven days in writing. Items must be returned in a new and saleable condition, as originally supplied to the customer. However, we cannot accept returns on customised orders unless deemed to be faulty - this includes all personalised stationery. The customer must return the items to us at the customer's expense. We will refund the full amount including the original p&p within 30 days of receipt of notice of cancellation.

The only information that we collect is nesessary for the processing/verifying of your order and delivery of goods - this includes name, address, phone numbers and email address.
We keep this information as up to date as possible - if you want to check any information that we hold, please contact us. If there are any errors, we will correct them as necessary.

We will not give, sell or swap your details with any third party companies.
